Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier, Just browse our store and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart.  After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept the followng card payments Visa, Visa Debit, MasterCard, Mastercard Debit, UK Maestro, International Maestro, Solo, Electron, and Visa Delta.  If you do not wish to pay online, you may send your card information via phone, fax or by post.  If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake manually.  When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order, It does not indicate that a contract exists between us.  We will indicate acceptance of your order and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice / sale receipt.  We have included this term to protect us in   the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason.  In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable before processing the order.

Shipping   
Free Delivery on all orders over £200.00 Net.  For orders which are shipped via a parcel courier then an email on the date of despatch will be sent to the customer (normally after 5pm) with a tracking reference, an additional SMS text message will also be included if this information is given by the customer at time of order.  For larger orders which are shipped via a pallet company then the collection/delivery email to the haulage company will be copied to the customer, please note that this type of delivery is agreed in advance with the customer and any orders not delivered on the specified date may incur an additional re-delivery charge.

Delivery
Whilst every effort will be made to deliver your order in a timely manner, we do not guarantee any delivery times.  You agree that we will not be held responsible in any way for any charge incurred by yourselves in anticipation of delivery.  Any delivery times quoted on our site are for guidance purposes only, and are not a definitive delivery time.
You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem.  Please quote your order number in all correspondence and attach any necessary photographs which may be used to claim against the delivery company.
You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.

Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we can if requested back order for you and part ship items (Additional Delivery Charges May Apply).

Tax Charges 
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is added.  All other orders are VAT free.

Seasonal Sales / Special Offers
Any seasonal sales or special offers advertised on our web site are exclusive to an online sale only which must be fully completed via our web site, any trade counter or telephone orders placed may not be offered at the same discount.

Credit Card Security
When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit SSL certificates.  No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted and any messages sent to your email are signed using MD5 hashing to prevent tampering.
All purchases are screened for fraud.  Should our fraud screening highlight an increased risk, your order will not be shipped, we will contact you to request an alternative payment method.

Privacy Policy
Nationwide Chimney Components Limited do not disclose buyer's information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Returns Policy
Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.

Please ensure you fill out our returns form for all goods you wish to return to us, returns without this form will be refused.  All returns should meet our returns policy as detailed below.

You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 7 working days for a full refund, including the cost of delivery. Do this by contacting us by email and quoting the order number supplied to you. Your refund will be paid within 30 days of the goods been returned. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, if goods are faulty or have a incorrect description. Some goods in our store are not eligible for return, they include any items manufactured especially for you.  Please also be aware that we DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS OF FLEXIBLE FLUE LINERS (both for solid fuel and gas), PAINTED PRODUCTS and ANY BESPOKE ITEMS as these have been made and cut to specific customer requirements.

Returned items must be in a saleable and unused condition, and in the original packaging.  Any items returned to us after the seven day cooling-off period will encounter a restocking charge of up to 35%.

These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.

None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.
